Entrepreneurship at Lehigh University is bigger than just the Baker Institute. While we serve as a hub for many programs, there are a number of others beyond Baker that teach entrepreneurship and help students realize their dreams.
Entrepreneurship Courses/Minor
Whether you aim to be an entrepreneur or simply to become more innovative within existing companies or non-profit enterprises, students in any major can supplement that major with a entrepreneurial mindset that will increase your ability to identify opportunities for innovation, to challenge the status quo in any field and to implement sustainable change. Not all courses offered every semester.
Master's of Engineering in Technical Entreprenuership
Lehigh's one-year, 30-credit, full-time professional Master's program (M.Eng.) in technical entrepreneurship helps students develop an entrepreneurial mindset through a process we call "Learn by Doing, Learn by Making and Learn by Launching." Entrepreneurial-minded students from any undergraduate major are encouraged to apply.
Technical Entrepreneurship Capstone
Technical Entrepreneurship Capstone is a set of courses that allows students from any college at Lehigh to work with students from other disciplines on a real-world, industry-sponsored project. The program provides the resources to fabricate, build and test the best solutions for technical, social, economic and personal relevance and value. Undergraduates can spend two or three semesters on this project.

Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE)
The IBE Honors Program is a carefully planned integration of courses in business and engineering with additional requirements in mathematics, sciences, English and humanities. In addition, students are required to demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language. Graduates of the IBE Honors Program will emerge with a unique set of skills and competencies, prepared to lead the corporate world in the 21st century.
VENTURESeries MBA Track
VENTURESeries is a highly acclaimed executive certificate program and MBA track that focuses on the next generation of entrepreneurs. It is the single largest collection of coursework of its kind. New venture creation is carved out and dissected in a wide array of highly specialized, compact, fast-moving courses that provide entrepreneurial thinking, tools, skills, and know-how.
Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive
The Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive brings American high school sophomores and juniors (ages 16-17) together with International high school students from all regions of the world for four weeks to live and learn together at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Students learn about entrepreneurship, globalization, team building, project management, leadership and working within a culturally diverse environment.
Small Business Development Center
The Lehigh University SBDC provides consulting services and educational programs to entrepreneurs wanting to start or grow a small business. SBDC consultants work one on one with entrepreneurs to help test a new business proposition, shape a business plan, or investigate funding issues.
