We had five teams pitch this month - three returners, 1 brand new team, and 1 team that exhibited at Creativate just two days before!
Last month, Nicholas Yarnall '20G pitched BestRun, an AI integrated surveillance system for ski resorts, but didn't win. He listened to the judges and Baker staff's
thoughts, applied the feedback he received, and then pitched this month and won! We love to see students return and succeed. Valvetronic was another returning team that won in September, and pitching successfully again in October.
Our guest judges were Anthony Durante (left above) who is manager of entrepreneurial support at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania and Bill Whitney (right above) who is the administrative director for the Office of Creative Inquiry here at Lehigh.
