LehighSiliconValley includes 55 students across 4 topical tracks. Let's learn more about them!

Alana Hill '19 | FinTech

Major | Finance

Minor | International Business Certificate

Before you meet me you should know that I think in terms of possibilities. I envision what could be. I am able to maintain a certain level of positivity because I face life's difficulties by thinking about what I can do to fix them. This fuels my enthusiasm for life and determination to achieve.

Scott Correia '20 | Software Engineering Major | Industrial and Systems Engineering Minor | Entrepreneurship

I love them, but my parents are terrible at sports which is interesting because soon after I learned to walk I was strapped into hockey skates and pushed onto the ice. I’m from Wayland Massachusetts about 25 minutes outside of Boston so naturally I’m a major Boston sports fan and sports are a huge part of my life. I played three seasons of varsity sports in high school and try to stay as athletically involved as possible in college. I have a major in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Entrepreneurship that I am excited to pursue on this trip.

Rebecca Bone '21 | Arts Entrepreneurship Major | Product Design

Minor | Engineering

My life is defined by music and art. As a performer and creator, I've learned the importance of learning to rely on others when necessary as, while possible, it is harder and can be less fun to have a concert with an ensemble of one. My experience as a fine artist has also provided me with the skills to express myself individually both vocally and visually.

David Pochapin '19 | Start Up

Major | Finance and Marketing

Raised in a family of two doctor parents and a Google software engineering brother, I somehow did not get the STEM skillset that the rest of my family possesses. Although I my strength lies within business, I still want to make sure that my future endeavors in life impact people's lives the same way my parents make meaningful impacts everyday. Outside of business, I have an interesting blend of passions between sports and music. Along with these passions, I live my life by one quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson that states, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.”
