POWERED BY BAKER.
The Baker Institute is Lehigh University's premier organization dedicated to entrepreneurial thinking, doing, and being across all areas of campus.
With over a decade of experience, we're powering entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation opportunities for students from all backgrounds, identities, and disciplines who want to make a difference in the world through hands-on entrepreneurial action.

Sam was awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award from Lehigh University for his inspiring work raising awareness and implementing real world solutions for ocean plastic pollution. "Six months ago I was just a bio-medical engineer. I was a scientist. And Lehigh's Baker Institute in six months has transformed me into an entrepreneur," - Giana Jarrah '22
We often invite students to walk in with an idea, and leave with inspiration!
But, we're fueling more than venture founders. We're also inviting students who may not think of themselves as entrepreneurs - those from all disciplines and groups across campus - to walk in with a traditional career path in mind, and walk out with an entrepreneurial mindset that will create value and solve problems in any professional setting.
LEHIGH'S ENTREPRENEURIAL HUB FOR EVERYONE IN OUR CAMPUS COMMUNITY
The Baker Institute's RISE (Rightful Inclusive Student Entrepreneurship) Initiative is our commitment to the intentional creation of equitable and inclusive opportunities for students from under-represented groups on campus. We're invested in research and data-collection to drive our efforts.
