WE SPARK

ENTREPRENEURSHIP
CREATIVITY
INNOVATION

The Baker Institute is Lehigh University's hub for entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation for all.

With over a decade of experience, we're powering entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation opportunities for students from all backgrounds, identities, and disciplines who want to make a difference in the world through hands-on entrepreneurial action.

Baker provides a platform for venture creation from the seed of an idea through the launch and growth phases of startups founded by students, faculty and young alumni.

Opportunities to practice creativity for innovation and entrepreneurial mindset are provided to students from all backgrounds, identities, and disciplines who want to differentiate themselves and make a difference in the world through the lens of an entrepreneurial approach to problem definition and the ability to create innovative, valuable solutions.

"Six months ago I was just a bio-medical engineer. I was a scientist. And Lehigh's Baker Institute in six months has transformed me into an entrepreneur," - Giana Jarrah '22

But we're fueling more than venture founders. We're also inviting students, faculty and staff  who may not think of themselves as entrepreneurs to walk in with a traditional career path in mind, and walk out with an entrepreneurial mindset that will create value and solve problems in any professional setting.
